No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Recklinghausen (8-3) defeated on the road 10th ranked Kamp-Lintfort (3-8) 75-67 on Saturday. Naturalized Kosovan guard Fahri Breca (190-85, agency: Court Side) fired 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Guard Christoph Bruns (180-87) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Center Lennart Boner (206) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds and point guard Maximilian Middeldorf (183) added 7 points, 10 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Kamp-Lintfort's coach Tobias Liebke tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Recklinghausen have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place in West, which they share with Hertener Loewen. Kamp-Lintfort lost third consecutive game. Kamp-Lintfort at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Recklinghausen will face Dorsten (#10) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kamp-Lintfort will play against Ibbenbueren and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
