Regular Season Round 10: Neustadt TSV - Rendsburg 88-59

There was a minor upset when 4th ranked Rendsburg (6-3) was rolled over on the road by sixth ranked Neustadt TSV (5-3) 88-59 on Saturday. Neustadt TSV forced 22 Rendsburg turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Neustadt TSV especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. British guard Rishi Kakad (188-87, college: Hawaii Pacific) fired 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Dutch power forward Jandell Hersisia (200-90) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Five Neustadt TSV players scored in double figures. American guard Garrett Jefferson (190-91, college: Cal.Baptist) produced 14 points and 6 rebounds and guard Patrick Sopha (186-97) added 8 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Neustadt TSV have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Vechta II. Loser Rendsburg dropped to the third position with three games lost. Neustadt TSV will face league's second-placed Aschersleben on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
