TBL top team - Turk Telekom (9-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat twelfth ranked Bakirkoy (3-6) in Ankara 90-83. Turk Telekom forced 19 Bakirkoy turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. The former international power forward Kaya Peker (207-80, agency: Court Side) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Canadian guard Marek Klassen (185-92, college: Point Loma) who recorded 15 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international Reha Oz (200-78) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Four Bakirkoy players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-0 record. Bakirkoy lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. Turk Telekom's next round opponent will be Karesi Spor (#6) which should be theoretically an easy game. Bakirkoy will play against TED Kolejliler (#5) and hope to win that game.
