Regular Season Round 7: Sakarya BSB - Darussafaka 55-66

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both sixth ranked Darussafaka and 9th ranked Sakarya BSB had identical 3-3 record. But Sakarya BSB was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Istanbul 66-55. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Scottie Wilbekin (188-93, college: Florida) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Nigerian center Micheal Eric (210-88, college: Temple) contributed with 11 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. French center Moustapha Fall (218-92) answered with 10 points and 7 rebounds and American CJ Harris (191-91, college: Wake Forest, agency: Pensack Sports) added 8 points in the effort for Sakarya BSB. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Darussafaka maintains sixth place with 4-3 record, which they share with Banvit BK. Newly promoted Sakarya BSB dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. Darussafaka's next round opponent will be higher ranked Eskisehir Basket (#5) in Edirne and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sakarya BSB will play on the road against Istanbul BBSK and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
