Not a big story in a game when 3rd placed TuSLi Berlin (5-2) lost to first ranked Osnabrueck SC (7-1) in Lichterfelde 70-78 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after three quarters before their 23-10 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Osnabrueck SC forced 20 TuSLi Berlin turnovers. It was a good game for American guard Dara Taylor (172-91, college: Penn St.) who led her team to a victory with 23 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Montenegrin forward Milica Milosev (185-93, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Osnabrueck SC players scored in double figures. Power forward Nyara Sabally (-0) answered with 17 points and 9 rebounds and Lena Gohlisch (173-93) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for TuSLi Berlin. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Osnabrueck SC maintains first place in North with 7-1 record. TuSLi Berlin at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Osnabrueck SC will face B.Loewen (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. TuSLi Berlin will play against Recklinghausen (#11) and hope to win that game.
