Very expected game when 15th ranked Usak Sportlif (1-6) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Banvit (4-3) 89-71. Banvit outrebounded Usak Sportlif 31-20 including 22 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Usak Sportlif's players. 24 personal fouls committed by Usak Sportlif helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tony Taylor (185-90, college: G.Washington) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 assists. Polish power forward Damian Kulig (205-87, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 23 points (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Swedish-Croatian power forward Damir Markota (209-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) answered with 17 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) added 14 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Usak Sportlif. Four Banvit and five Usak Sportlif players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Banvit moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Darussafaka. Usak Sportlif lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the bottom position with six games lost. Banvit's next round opponent will be higher ranked Besiktas (#4) in Istanbul and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Usak Sportlif will play on the road against Anadolu Efes (#3) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
