Regular Season Round 10: Telekom Bsk - Bayreuth 85-82

A very interesting game took place in Bonn. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of one of their biggest challengers BBC Bayreuth (7-3) to ninth ranked Telekom Baskets (6-3) 85-82 on Sunday evening. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BBC Bayreuth. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin Nemanja Djurisic (203-92, college: Georgia) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. American point guard Josh Mayo (181-87, college: Ill.-Chicago, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) contributed with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international center Andreas Seiferth (209-89) replied with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American Nate Linhart (201-86, college: Akron) added 12 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for BBC Bayreuth. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Telekom Baskets moved-up to fifth place. BBC Bayreuth at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost. Telekom Baskets' next round opponent will be Brose Baskets (#9) in Bamberg. BBC Bayreuth will play at home against s Oliver Baskets (#7) and hope to win that game.
