Regular Season Round 10: Stade - Aschersleben 84-75

Very important is a road loss of second ranked Aschersleben (7-2) against tenth ranked Stade (3-5) on Sunday night. Visiting Aschersleben was defeated by Stade in a tough game in Stade 75-84. Worth to mention a great performance of Spanish power forward Oscar Andres (200-87) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 26 points, 15 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. American point guard Yettra Specks (178-95, college: Jackson St.) contributed with 20 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Stade's coach Paul Larysz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Croatian Robert Kujundzic (202-94) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and Croatian power forward Dino Erceg (203-85) added 18 points in the effort for Aschersleben. Four Stade and five Aschersleben players scored in double figures. Stade moved-up to eighth place in North, which they share with Weser Bsk/BTS and ALBA Berlin II. Aschersleben at the other side keeps the second position with two games lost. Stade will play against higher ranked Bergedorf (#3) in Hamburg in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Aschersleben will play at home against Neustadt TSV and hopes to get back on the winning track.
