Regular Season Round 10: Stahnsdorf - Rostock 66-68

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Rostock (5-5) edged 11th ranked RSV Eintracht (2-8) in Stahnsdorf 68-66 on Sunday. It was a very good performance for Bill Borekambi (198-92, college: Sequoias CC) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field). American guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Rostock's coach Ralf Rehberger used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Mike Holton-Jr (185-90, college: St.Michael's) replied with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and his fellow American import Josh Smith (206-94, college: Clemson) added 18 points and 12 rebounds in the effort for RSV Eintracht. Rostock moved-up to fifth place in North, which they share with Wolfenbuettel and Bochum. Loser RSV Eintracht keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost. Rostock will face Itzehoe (#9) at home in the next round. RSV Eintracht will play against the league's second-placed SSV Lok Bernau and hope to win that game.
