Regular Season Round 9: Saarlouis - Halle 80-68

There was a small surprise when tenth ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (3-6) defeated at home 8th ranked SV Halle Lions (3-6) 80-68. The game was mostly controlled by TV Saarlouis Royals. SV Halle Lions was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TV Saarlouis Royals made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game. TV Saarlouis Royals had a 35-20 advantage in offensive rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. TV Saarlouis Royals moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Chemnitz and Halle.
