There was a small surprise when tenth ranked TV Saarlouis Royals (3-6) defeated at home 8th ranked SV Halle Lions (3-6) 80-68. The game was mostly controlled by TV Saarlouis Royals. SV Halle Lions was better in second period 16-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. TV Saarlouis Royals made 22-of-27 charity shots (81.5 percent) during the game.
