Ladybaskets Wuerzburg (#4) forced the game against Weiterstadt (#3) into an overtime, but lost by five points 83-88 on Sunday night. The game took place in Wuerzburg. But the guests from Weiterstadt were better at the end. The guests trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 18-14 charge, which allowed them to tie the game at the end of regular time and get a 5-point victory in overtime. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with four games lost. Weiterstadt will face Speyer / Schifferstadt (#11) in Dudenhofen in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ladybaskets Wuerzburg will play on the road against Friendsfactory Germering (#7) and hope to win that game.
