Regular Season Round 10: Bahcesehir - Selcuklu 74-76

The most exciting game of round 10 in the TBL took place in Istanbul. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 8th ranked Acibadem (5-5) to fourth ranked Selcuklu (8-2) 76-74 on Wednesday evening. Selcuklu had a 25-13 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Arca Tuluoglu (-97) had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 9 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Will Daniels (202-86, college: Rhode Island) chipped in 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Selcuklu's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side swingman Ceyhun Altay (196-86, agency: Court Side) responded with 20 points and the former international power forward Kerem Gonlum (208-77) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Selcuklu and four Acibadem players scored in double figures. Selcuklu moved-up to second place, which they share with Afyon. Acibadem lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with 5 other teams. Selcuklu is looking forward to face Antalyaspor (#4) on the road in the next round. Acibadem will play against Bursaspor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
