Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Rostock (6-5) outscored at home 9th ranked Itzehoe (4-7) 88-68. Rostock made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American forward Jordan Talbert (198-91, college: Missouri So.) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import guard Brandon Lockhart (185-90, college: Drury) contributed with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Five Rostock players scored in double figures. American forward Lamar Roberson (203-86, college: La-Lafayette, agency: Aspire Sports) answered with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and British-Australian point guard Joshua Wilcher (178-91, college: Cent.Wyoming) added 15 points in the effort for Itzehoe.
