Regular Season Round 7: Stevnsgade - SISU 61-70

Very important is a home loss of third ranked Stevnsgade (4-3) against fourth ranked SISU (3-4) on Friday night. Host Stevnsgade was defeated by SISU in a tough game in Stevnsgade 61-70. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Stevnsgade. It was a great evening for forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Kama Griffitts (183-91, college: Arizona) helped adding 18 points. At the losing side forward Emilie Hesseldal (186-90, college: Colorado St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and the former international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. SISU maintains fourth place with 3-4 record. Stevnsgade at the other side keeps the third position with three games lost. SISU will play against Vaerlose (#5) on the road in the next round. Stevnsgade will play against the league's leader Horsholm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
