Regular Season Round 10: Timberwolves - Flames 98-84

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Vienna: Timberwolves (#1) and Flames (#6). Timberwolves (10-0) won against visiting Flames (5-5) 98-84. Timberwolves made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian guard Petar Cosic (183-85, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 assists. Bosnian forward Nemanja Nikolic (202-89) contributed with 19 points for the winners. Four Timberwolves players scored in double figures. German forward Maximilan Huebner (196-91) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and Christian Kunstner (186-90) added 18 points in the effort for Flames. Flames' coach Franz Zderadicka rotated eleven players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Timberwolves have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 10-0 record. Flames at the other side dropped to the seventh place with five games lost. Timberwolves will play against league's second-placed Mustangs in Mistelbach in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Flames will play on the road against Blackbirds (#4) in Jennersdorf and hope to get back on the winning track.
