Not a big story in a game in Essen where 6th ranked AstroStars (5-6) were defeated by fourth ranked ETB Wohnbau (7-4) 88-81. ETB Wohnbau forced 22 AstroStars turnovers. Strangely AstroStars outrebounded ETB Wohnbau 42-25 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Mark Gebhardt (198-94) answered with 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Alexander Angerer (203-96) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for AstroStars. Four AstroStars players scored in double figures. AstroStars' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. ETB Wohnbau moved-up to third place in North. AstroStars at the other side dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. ETB Wohnbau's next round opponent will be Cuxhaven (#11) on the road and are hoping to win another game. AstroStars will play against the league's second-placed SSV Lok Bernau (#2) and hope to win that game.
