Regular Season Round 11: Stuttgart - Crailsheim II 62-68

There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Stuttgart (5-5) lost at home to tenth ranked Crailsheim II (4-6) 68-62 on Saturday. Strangely Stuttgart outrebounded Crailsheim II 35-21 including 23 on the defensive glass. American forward Eric Ross (201-94, college: Shorter) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). Guard Harald Debelka (191-91) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Four Crailsheim II players scored in double figures. American forward Nick Mosley (203-88, college: Tarleton St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 31 points, 14 rebounds and 4 blocks and forward Jonas Leidel (195-87) added 8 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Stuttgart. Newly promoted Crailsheim II maintains tenth place in South-West with 4-6 record. Loser Stuttgart keeps the eighth position with five games lost. Crailsheim II will face higher ranked Saarlouis/Dillingen (#4) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
