Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Weser Bsk/BTS (3-6) was outscored by leader Sixers (9-0) in Neustadt 89-54 on Saturday. Sixers forced 21 Weser Bsk/BTS turnovers. Croatian point guard Luka Petkovic (190-88) orchestrated the victory by scoring 25 points and 5 rebounds. Lithuanian Eimantas Stankevicius (190-98, agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 17 points for the winners. Five Sixers players scored in double figures. Naturalized Congolese forward Blanchard Obiango (202-88) answered with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and Canadian forward Ismar Kriese (201-94) added 11 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Weser Bsk/BTS. Weser Bsk/BTS's coach Dejan Stojanovski already knew that his team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the ninth consecutive win for Sixers. They maintain first place in North with 9-0 record. Weser Bsk/BTS lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with six games lost. Sixers will face Rendsburg (#4) at home in the next round. Weser Bsk/BTS will play against Goetting.ASC (#6) in Goettingen and hope to win that game.
