Regular Season Round 11: Karlsruhe SC - Elchingen 58-82

ProB top team - Elchingen (10-1) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Karlsruhe SC (1-10) 82-58. Elchingen dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Karlsruhe SC's 28. The best player for the winners was Croatian forward Jere Vucica (206-92, college: Miami, OH, agency: Court Side) who scored 19 points. American guard Hayden Lescault (196-92, college: Point Loma) chipped in 17 points. Elchingen's coach Dario Jerkic felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. American center Jeremy Black (203-85, college: Tampa, agency: Court Side) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and guard Aaron Schmitz (193-93) added 12 points respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Elchingen have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place in South with 10-1 record. Newly promoted Karlsruhe SC keeps the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Wuerzburg. Elchingen will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Karlsruhe SC will play again against the league's leader Elchingen (#1) and hope to win that game.
