American forward Salathiel Ligons (201-84) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and center Wilhelm Koehler (206-88) added 14 points in the effort for Dorsten. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Recklinghausen. They moved-up to third place in West. Loser Dorsten keeps the tenth position with nine games lost. Recklinghausen will have a break next round. Dorsten will play on the road against Ibbenbueren (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
