Very important is a road loss of second ranked Gotha II (8-2) against fifth ranked Treuchtlingen (8-2) on Saturday night. Visiting Gotha II was defeated by Treuchtlingen in Treutchlingen 95-81. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Gotha II. Treuchtlingen forced 19 Gotha II turnovers. Strangely Gotha II outrebounded Treuchtlingen 47-33 including a 25-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. Treuchtlingen moved-up to second place in South-East, which they share with Gotha II and Oberhaching. Treuchtlingen's next round opponent will be Herzogenaurach (#12) on the road and are hoping to win another game. Gotha II will play against the league's leader Vilsbiburg (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
