Undefeated leader Turk Telekom delivered the eleventh consecutive victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 10th ranked Akhisar Bld (5-6) 75-64 in Ankara. Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 40 of its points in the paint compared to Akhisar Bld's 16. It was a great evening for American power forward Darryl Monroe (201-86, college: George Mason) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Nusret Yildirim (202-89) helped adding 19 points and 10 rebounds. Turk Telekom's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Reginald Holmes (193-87, college: Morgan St., agency: Two Points) responded with 19 points and forward Emre Ozpulat (200-82) scored 15 points. Turk Telekom (11-0) have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 11 victories in a row. Akhisar Bld at the other side keeps the tenth position with six games lost. They share it with TED Kolejliler and Bahcesehir. Turk Telekom will meet Acibadem (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Akhisar Bld will play against TED Kolejliler and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
