Rather expected game when 10th ranked Coburg (3-8) was defeated at home by seventh ranked Titans (6-5) 90-83. They made 30-of-34 charity shots (88.2 percent) during the game. Titans players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Coburg helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. American guard Travis Thompson (185-91, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Athleadz) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Point guard Janek Schmidkunz (183-90, college: Amer.Internat.) contributed with 15 points and 9 assists (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) for the winners. American forward Jordan Burris (201-92, college: CS San Bernar.) answered with 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and Christopher Wolf (199-95) added 17 points in the effort for Coburg. Four Coburg players scored in double figures. Coburg's coach Simon Bertram rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Titans moved-up to sixth place in South, which they share with Fraport SKY II. Coburg lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the tenth position with eight games lost. Titans' next round opponent will be Bayer Giants (#8) in Leverkusen. Coburg will play at home against Iserlohn and hope to win that game.
