Regular Season Round 11: OrangeAcademy - Vechta 77-91

Everything went according to plan in Ulm where second ranked SC Rasta Vechta (9-1) beat 13th ranked OrangeAcademy (3-8) 91-77. SC Rasta Vechta players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists. American guard Joshua Young (185-88, college: Drake) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import Seth Hinrichs (201-93, college: Lafayette, agency: Duran International) contributed with 19 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Hungarian point guard Marcell Pongo (194-97) answered with 11 points and 8 assists and center Bjoern Rohwer (213-95) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for OrangeAcademy. Four OrangeAcademy players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. SC Rasta Vechta maintains second place with 9-1 record behind leader Crailsheim. OrangeAcademy lost their third game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the thirteenth position with eight games lost. SC Rasta Vechta's next round opponent will be White Wings (#8) in Hanau which should be theoretically an easy game. OrangeAcademy will play at home against MLP Academics Heidelberg (#7) and hope to win that game.
