Regular Season Round 17: Ezerunas - Vytis 84-91

NKL top team - Vytis (15-2) added another victory to their record. This time they beat twelfth ranked Ezerunas (6-11) in Moletai 91-84. Vytis shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 53.1 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Gytis Radzevicius (195-95) who scored 18 points and 8 rebounds. International guard Sarunas Vingelis (191-89) chipped in 23 points. Center Ignas Lukosius (202-93) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and Karolis Lukosiunas (196-97) added 20 points and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vytis maintains first place with 15-2 record. Ezerunas lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eleventh position with 11 games lost. Vytis' next round opponent will be bottom-ranked KTU (#14) in Kaunas which should be an easy win for them. Ezerunas will play on the road against Neptunas-Akv. in Klaipeda and hope to win that game.
