LPB round 7 most important game was a victory of CAB Madeira over 8th ranked Terceira 96-83 on Friday night. The guests trailed by 6 points at the halftime before their 58-39 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. American players dominated the game. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Khalen Cumberlander (190, college: Cent.Conn.St.) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Power forward Tommie Eddie (201-82, college: Mississippi) contributed with 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Isaiah Johnson (183-93, college: Young Harris) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 assists and power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) added 10 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Terceira. Four CAB Madeira and five Terceira players scored in double figures. CAB Madeira maintains fifth place with 6-4 record. Newly promoted Terceira dropped to the seventh position with five games lost. CAB Madeira will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Terceira will play on the road against Lusitania (#8) in Angra and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
