Regular Season Round 11: Aistes-LSU - Suduva 50-77

The game in Kaunas supposed to be also quite interesting. Second ranked Suduva (8-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Aistes-LSU (3-6). Suduva smashed Aistes-LSU 77-50 on Friday. They outrebounded Aistes-LSU 48-24 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Suduva looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Aistes-LSU's players. It was an exceptional evening for American forward Danielle McCray (185-93, college: Mississippi) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Rita Milieskiene (175-78) accounted for 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Karolina Kazociunaite (179-99) came up with 12 points and 5 rebounds and Monika Petrauskaite (182-92) added 8 points respectively for Aistes-LSU in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Suduva. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Sirenos. Loser Aistes-LSU keeps the fifth place with six games lost. Suduva will meet Kibirkstis (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Aistes-LSU will play against Siauliai-Univ. and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
