Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifteenth ranked Gaziantep and 16th ranked Usak Sportlif had identical 1-7 record. But Usak Sportlif was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Gaziantep 75-67 on Saturday night. Gaziantep made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Usak Sportlif was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American forward Victor Rudd (205-91, college: S.Florida, agency: Elfus Sports Mngm) who led his team to a victory with 19 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import point guard Mark Lyons (185-89, college: Arizona, agency: Higher Vision Sports) contributed with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American-Nigerian Ike Ofoegbu (205-84, college: SMU) answered with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and American guard Ian Miller (190-91, college: Florida St.) added 15 points in the effort for Usak Sportlif. Four Usak Sportlif players scored in double figures. Gaziantep (2-7) moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Pinar Karsiyaka. Usak Sportlif lost their sixth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with eight games lost. Gaziantep will face league's second-placed Besiktas in Istanbul in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Usak Sportlif will play on the road against Galatasaray (#8) in Istanbul and hope to win that game.
