Everything went according to plan when second ranked Dragons Rhoendorf (10-2) won against at home 12th ranked Wuerzburg (1-11) 72-56 on Saturday. Dragons Rhoendorf forced 24 Wuerzburg turnovers. The best player for the winners was American guard Kameron Taylor (198-94, college: Seton Hill) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds, 7 assists and 8 steals. Power forward Alexander Moeller (208-98) chipped in 18 points and 9 rebounds. Four Dragons Rhoendorf players scored in double figures. Dragons Rhoendorf's coach Thomas Adelt allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Garrett Jackson (201-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 5 assists and center Jonas Weitzel (203-98) added 12 points respectively. Dragons Rhoendorf have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain second position in South with 10-2 record behind leader Elchingen. Wuerzburg lost tenth consecutive game. They dropped to the eleventh place with 11 games lost. Dragons Rhoendorf will face Fraport Skyliners II (#6) in Frankfurt in the next round.
