The winners were led by Serbian point guard Milijan Bocka (185-82) who scored that evening 25 points, 7 assists and 6 steals and Serbian center Dragan Tubak (216-87) supported him with 15 points and 16 rebounds. Cherno More's coach Darin Velikov used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 24 points, 14 rebounds and 5 blocks by American forward Alex Davis (206-92, college: Fresno St., agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Beroe. American-Italian point guard Mike DiNunno (180-90, college: E.Kentucky, agency: Interperformances) added 24 points and 7 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cherno More have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Beroe. Beroe lost fourth consecutive game. Cherno More will meet Yambol (#8) on the road in the next round. Beroe will play against Academik Plovdiv and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
