There was a surprise result when ninth ranked OKK Beograd (5-5) defeated at home higher ranked Vrsac (6-3) 84-71 on Saturday. OKK Beograd looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Naturalized Bosnian point guard Aleksej Nesovic (189-85, agency: Interperformances) fired 19 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Djordje Savkovic (196-96, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds. Four OKK Beograd players scored in double figures. Stefan Mitrovic (194-94) produced 16 points and 5 assists and Danilo Ostojic (205-96) added 12 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. OKK Beograd have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Beovuk 72. Loser Vrsac keeps the fifth position with three games lost. OKK Beograd will face bottom-ranked Radnicki (#14) in Kragujevac in the next round where they are favorite. Vrsac will play at home against Zlatibor (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
