Regular Season Round 7: Kremen-2 - Zolotoi Vek 86-89

Important game to mention about took place in Kremenchuk. Third ranked Zolotoi Vek (5-2) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Kremen-2 (2-5) 89-86 on Saturday evening. They outrebounded Kremen-2 44-28 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Olexandr Drobiazko (200-93) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points and 6 rebounds. Power forward Vyacheslav Motorchuk (208-92) helped adding 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Zolotoi Vek players scored in double figures. At the losing side Azerbaijani Amil Hamzayev (204-90, agency: Stanislav Ryzhov) responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds and guard Yaroslav Kadygrob (195-91) scored 15 points. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Zolotoi Vek. They moved-up to second place. Kremen-2 lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with five games lost. Zolotoi Vek will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kremen-2 will play again at home against the league's second-placed Zolotoi Vek (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
