Very significant was Horsholm's (#1, 9-0) victory against 3rd ranked Stevnsgade (4-4) 73-62. Horsholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by American forward Maryah Sydnor (185-93, college: Appalachian St.) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian forward Ivana Jovanovic (185-85) supported her with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Horsholm's coach Jesper Krone Rasmussen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 18 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists by forward Emilie Hesseldal (186-90, college: Colorado St.) did not help to save the game for Stevnsgade. The former international guard Ida Pretzmann (178-90, college: TCU) added 27 points for the guests. Horsholm (9-0) have an impressive nine-game winning streak. They maintain first position with a perfect record of 9 victories in a row. Stevnsgade at the other side keeps the third place with four games lost. Horsholm will play against bottom-ranked Lemvig (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Stevnsgade will play against Vaerlose and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
