Regular Season Round 12: Oberhaching - Muenchen OSB 91-86

Everything went according to plan in Deisenhofen where second ranked Oberhaching (9-2) beat 6th ranked Muenchen OSB (5-6) 91-86 on Sunday. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Oberhaching made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. Muenchen OSB was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Peter Zeis (196-89) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 5 rebounds and American-Czech point guard John Boyer (185-88, college: Buffalo, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists during the contest. Boyer is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) with 27 points and 5 rebounds and forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Four Muenchen OSB players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Oberhaching have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain second position in South-East with 9-2 record having five points less than leader Muenster, which they share with Treuchtlingen and Gotha II. Newly promoted Muenchen OSB dropped to the seventh place with six games lost. Oberhaching will face Rosenheim (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Muenchen OSB will play against Bamberg and hope to win that game.
