The game between closely ranked teams ended with 13th ranked Istanbul Uni's (1-7) home loss to twelfth ranked Adana ASKI (2-5) 83-94. Adana ASKI players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Istanbul Uni helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American guard Odyssey Sims (175-92, college: Baylor) who scored 29 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Lithuanian guard Kamile Nacickaite (181-89, college: Drexel) chipped in 26 points. Four Adana ASKI players scored in double figures. Adana ASKI's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Romanian forward Claudia Pop (182-89, agency: ProDep Management) produced 44 points (!!!) and 9 rebounds and Belgian point guard Julie Vanloo (172-93) added 18 points and 8 assists respectively for the hosts. Adana ASKI moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with OGM Orman. Istanbul Uni at the other side keeps the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Adana ASKI's next round opponent will be higher ranked Abdullah Gul (#4) in Kayseri and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
