The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Sofia: Levski (#5) and Septemvri 97 (#6). Levski (2-4) won against visiting Septemvri 97 (1-5) 64-56. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 20-12. But Septemvri 97 won second period 16-10. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Levski forced 25 Septemvri 97 turnovers. It was a great evening for Delyana Kadieva (165-0) who led her team to a victory scoring 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Valeria Marinova (160-99) helped adding 20 points. At the losing side forward Valentina Veselinova (170-3) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 11 rebounds and swingman Violeta Grigorova (175-2) scored 14 points. Septemvri 97's coach Borislava Mandur rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Levski moved-up to fourth place in West, which they share with NSA. Septemvri 97 lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. Levski's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Sofia to the arena Champion 2006.
