The best player for the winners was international forward Enis Murati (194-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who scored 26 points and 7 rebounds. The former international point guard Daniel Friedrich (181-92) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. The former international guard Stjepan Stazic (199-78) produced 37 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) and Czech center Jiri Hubalek (208-82, college: Iowa St., agency: Interperformances) added 20 points respectively for the hosts. Gmunden Swans have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 9-1 record. Vienna lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with seven games lost. Gmunden Swans will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Vienna will play against the league's second-placed Arkadia Lions (#2) in Traiskirchen and hope to secure a win.
