Bottom-ranked Siauliai-Univ. (0-10) is still winless. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their tenth consecutive match to fifth ranked Aistes-LSU (4-6) 74-61. The winners were led by Klaudija Serkeviciute (170-99) who scored that evening 19 points and 9 assists and Monika Petrauskaite (182-92) supported her with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Aistes-LSU's coach Rokas Kondratavicius allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points and 4 assists by forward Urte Bukauskaite (178-94) did not help to save the game for Siauliai-Univ.. American guard Kourtney Williams (175, college: S.Carolina St.) added 17 points. Aistes-LSU maintains fifth position with 4-6 record. Siauliai-Univ. at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Aistes-LSU will play against higher ranked Kibirkstis (#3) in Vilnius in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Siauliai-Univ. will play at home against the league's second-placed Hoptrans-Sirenos Kaunas (#2) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
