Very predictable result when eighth ranked Duzce Belediye (7-6) defeated at home 16th ranked Ankara D.S.I. (3-10) 79-61 on Saturday. They outrebounded Ankara D.S.I. 44-26 including a 32-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. American-Jamaican power forward Kyle Hunt (208-89, college: Oklahoma S&A, agency: Octagon Europe) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 18 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Corin Henry (178-88, college: Tarleton St., agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 assists. Duzce Belediye's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Keifer Sykes (183-93, college: Green Bay) produced 25 points and 5 assists and Caner Ercan (205-86) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Duzce Belediye moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Akhisar Bld and Karesi Spor. Ankara D.S.I. at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with ten games lost. Duzce Belediye will meet league's second-placed Afyon Bld in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
