Regular Season Round 10: LTH Castings - Konjice 79-61

No shocking result in a game when third ranked LTH Castings (7-2) beat 11th ranked Konjice (2-7) in Skofja Loka 79-61 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by LTH Castings. Konjice was better in second period 14-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Quite impressive performance for forward Jan Dornik (195-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard David Kralj (191-99) contributed with 20 points for the winners. LTH Castings' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Forward Blaz Meglic (196-93) replied with 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Gasper Sevsek (198-93) added 5 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Konjice. LTH Castings have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sezana and Parklji. Konjice lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with seven games lost. LTH Castings will face Parklji (#4) in Bezigrad in the next round. Konjice will play at home against the league's leader Terme Olimia (#1) and hope to win that game.
