The game in Angra was also quite interesting. Seventh ranked Terceira (6-5) played at the court of 8th ranked Lusitania (4-7). Terceira managed to secure a 5-point victory 80-75 on Saturday. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lusitania won third quarter 23-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Lusitania 47-35 including 19 on the offensive glass. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. The best player for the winners was power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 19 rebounds. Point guard Isaiah Johnson (183-93, college: Young Harris) chipped in 18 points and 5 assists. Forward Timajh Parker-Rivera (202-94, college: Towson) produced a double-double by scoring 25 points and 12 rebounds and swingman Dominique Coleman (198-88, college: Francis Marion) added 14 points and 5 assists respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Terceira maintains seventh position with 6-5 record. Lusitania lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
