Regular Season Round 12: Wuerzburg - ALBA 76-90

There was no surprise when 9th ranked s Oliver Baskets (6-6) lost to second ranked ALBA Berlin (10-3) in Wuerzburg 76-90. ALBA Berlin made 26-of-30 charity shots (86.7 percent) during the game. ALBA Berlin outrebounded s Oliver Baskets 33-20 including 23 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by s Oliver Baskets helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Luke Sikma (203-89, college: Portland) who scored 10 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. Lithuanian forward Marius Grigonis (198-94) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Five ALBA Berlin players scored in double figures.
