Walter Tigers' fans can finally celebrate the first win of their team after 11 consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat BG Goettingen (4-8) 80-67. Walter Tigers players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Reggie Upshaw (203-95, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jared Jordan (187-84, college: Marist) who added 5 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists during the contest. Four Walter Tigers players scored in double figures. Walter Tigers' coach Matthias Fischer allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was international guard Dominic Lockhart (198-94) with 16 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Brion Rush (191-84, college: Grambling St., agency: 3Eye) scored 16 points. Walter Tigers maintains eighteenth position with 1-11 record. It was BG Goettingen's third loss in a row. They keep the fourteenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with MBC.
