Regular Season Round 9: Horsholm - Svendborg 94-82

Date: December 9, 2017
No shocking result in a game when second ranked Horsholm (8-3) beat at home 6th ranked Svendborg (3-6) 94-82. The game was mostly controlled by Horsholm. Svendborg was better in fourth quarter 23-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Horsholm players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Matt Bonds (196, college: St.Michael's, agency: Duran International) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 17 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Horsholm's coach Rafael Monclova used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Mike Moore (203-94, college: Mount Olive, agency: Mansfield and Associates) who recorded 26 points and 6 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Harding NaNa (203-81, college: Delaware) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists respectively. Five Svendborg players scored in double figures. Horsholm maintains second place with 8-3 record behind leader Horsens IC. Svendborg lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with six games lost. Horsholm's next round opponent will be league's leader Horsens IC on the road and it will be for sure the game of the week. Svendborg will play against Naestved (#3) and hope to win that game.
