Regular Season Round 13: Stuttgart - Lich II 107-106 OT
Date: December 10, 2017
There was no surprise when 13th ranked Lich II (2-9) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Stuttgart (6-6) 107-106 on Sunday. However just one-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lich II won third quarter 24-23. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening, at least not yet. The game turned upside-down in the last quarter, where Lich II used huge pressure winning it 30-22 getting a tie at the end of regular time. They lost eventually overtime period 11-12. Stuttgart shot 64.4 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 59.3 percentage. Montenegrin Milos Mandic (195-97) fired 24 points (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners. Guard Cyrill Da-Silva (183-83) chipped in 21 points. American guard Chris Longoria (193-92, college: Valdosta St.) produced 44 points (!!!), 7 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Rene Keller (182-93) added 20 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Stuttgart maintains ninth place in South-West with 6-6 record. Lich II lost their fourth game in a row.
