Regular Season Round 12: Brose Bask. - Bremerhaven 79-74
Date: December 11, 2017
No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Brose Baskets (8-4) beat 16th ranked Eisbaeren Bremerhaven (2-10) in Bamberg 79-74. However just five-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Brose Baskets made 22-of-29 charity shots (75.9 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Serbian power forward Dejan Musli (213-91) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). American-Italian guard Daniel Hackett (199-87, college: USC) chipped in 12 points and 6 assists. Four Brose Baskets players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Jordan Hulls (180-90, college: Indiana) who recorded 14 points and 4 assists and his fellow American import guard Tre Bussey (190-91, college: Georgia South) added 14 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Brose Baskets have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Fraport SKY. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven at the other side keeps the sixteenth position with ten games lost. Brose Baskets' next round opponent will be EWE Baskets (#9) in Oldenburg. Eisbaeren Bremerhaven will play at home against Mitteldeutscher BC (#15) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
