Regular Season Round 10: SISU - Lemvig 88-85

Sixth-ranked Lemvig (1-10) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked SISU (5-5) in Copenhagen on Wednesday. SISU managed to secure only three-point victory 88-85. However their fans expected easier game. The hosts trailed by 4 points after three quarters before their 23-16 charge, which allowed them to win the game. SISU forced 19 Lemvig turnovers and had a 21-10 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Catharina Jensen (182-89) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists (made all of her eight free throws). American guard Hannah Schaible (175-94, college: G.Washington) contributed with 27 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. American forward Lisa Murphy (185-94, college: Carnegie Mellon) replied with 25 points and 9 rebounds (made all of her seven free throws) and Bulgarian forward Anna-Mariya Kolyandrova (165-97) added 15 points in the effort for Lemvig. Four Lemvig players scored in double figures. SISU moved-up to third place, which they share with Stevnsgade. Lemvig lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with ten games lost. SISU is again looking forward to face bottom-ranked Lemvig (#6) at home in the next round. Lemvig will have a break next round.
