Regular Season Round 14: Schwabing - Muenchen OSB 95-91

There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Schwabing (5-8) beat at home higher ranked Muenchen OSB (6-7) 95-91 on Saturday. Schwabing looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Muenchen OSB was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Guard Dimitrije Mrda (188-98) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 13 assists. American swingman Nathan Gibbs (203-89, college: Westmont) contributed with 27 points for the winners. Five Schwabing players scored in double figures. American guard Omari Knox (188-86, college: Bloomfield) replied with 31 points and 4 assists and forward Jermaine Lippert (203-90, college: Detroit Mercy) added 27 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Muenchen OSB. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Schwabing moved-up to eighth place in South-East, which they share with Leitershofen. Newly promoted Muenchen OSB dropped to the seventh position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
