There was no surprise when 11th ranked Konjice (2-8) was defeated at home by eighth ranked Grosuplje (4-6) 82-77. Konjice was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. Grosuplje made 28-of-36 charity shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Konjice helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The winners were led by point guard Aljaz Marinc (190-97) who scored that evening 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and center Matija Trampus (205-89) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 17 points and 5 rebounds by forward Gasper Sevsek (198-93) did not help to save the game for Konjice. Guard Niko Bacvic (180-97) added 19 points and 4 assists. Grosuplje moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Plama Pur. Konjice lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with eight games lost. Grosuplje's next round opponent will be league's leader Terme Olimia in Podcetrtek and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
