Regular Season Round 13: UBSC Graz - Wels 76-111

Bottom-ranked UBSC Graz is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their 12th consecutive match to fifth ranked Raiffeisen Flyers Wels (6-5) 111-76 on Sunday evening. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The former international Davor Lamesic (205-83, agency: Interperformances) nailed 17 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for the winning side and international forward Carlos Novas-Mateo (197-92, agency: Mansfield and Associates) accounted for 18 points and 6 rebounds. International Anton Maresch (191-91) came up with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and French forward Matt Gamberoni (208-91, college: Trevecca Naz., agency: Diamond Sports) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for UBSC Graz in the defeat. Five Raiffeisen Flyers Wels and four UBSC Graz players scored in double figures. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Raiffeisen Flyers Wels. They maintain fifth place with 6-5 record. UBSC Graz lost their twelfth game in a row. They still close the standings with 12 games lost. Raiffeisen Flyers Wels will meet league's leader Gmunden Swans on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. UBSC Graz will play against Dukes (#4) in Klosterneuburg and hopes to get finally their first victory.
